Ways you can help pass Prop 85
VOLUNTEER for the YES on PROP 85 Campaign!
What could be more important in protecting the health and safety of a young girl in California than notifying a parent before an invasive surgical procedure like an abortion is performed on their minor daughter?
PLEASE JOIN the campaign to inform California voters about this important common sense PROPOSITION 85, on the November ballot.

Volunteers are needed to
- Display a bumper sticker on your car.
- Display a sign on a truck, trailer, or RV.
- Display a window or yard sign at a home or business.
- Distribute campaign flyers, etc., in your neighborhood, church, club, or school.
- Make phone calls.
- Write letters to the editor.
- Tell friends about the Yes On 85 web site.
- Post information endorsing Yes on 85 on blogs and web sites.
- Hold a coffee gathering at home to help organize volunteers in neighborhood, church, or local area.
- Contribute funds for the YES on PROP 85 campaign.
- Help raise funds for the YES on PROP 85 campaign.
- Work within your home voting precinct.
(This is the most effective campaign work individuals can do in winning YES votes and an election victory for Prop 85 on November 7.
Thousands of volunteers and families working within California’s approximately 16,000 election precincts will be the greatest resource for a winning YES vote for PROP 85 in November.
Volunteers are needed to
- Phone voters in their local precinct.
- Deliver YES on Prop 85 campaign materials to registered voters in the local precinct.
- Walk precincts: A “Walking List” of voters (their addresses, phone numbers, and party registration) is available for your precinct from your County Registrar. Let the County Registrar know you are walking and/or phoning your precinct on behalf of Proposition 85. Sometimes it can take a couple of days for the Registrar to prepare this list for you.
Also, it may be possible to obtain a walking list from the campaign of a local candidate you support who is running for elective office in your region. You can distribute campaign materials in your precinct on his/her behalf and for Proposition 85.
